Repeated folded and ridged sections turn around an open centre, compressing the idea of a house into a restless circular structure. The enclosure seems to rotate, as if memory had pulled familiar walls out of alignment.

Cast paper gives the work the presence of a relief while preserving the vulnerability of the sheet. Its shadows gather in the folds, making the form shift as the viewer moves around it.

Twisted House belongs to Zarina’s sustained return to architecture as a language of memory and displacement. The house is recognizable but unstable: shelter remains present as an idea even when its geometry can no longer hold still.
