About the work
Made for the 2011 Noor exhibition in Paris, this collage turns a map of the city into a mosaic of black and silver paper. Zarina recalled tracing the boulevards, the Seine, and the gardens as markers of her passage through a place where she had lived from 1963 to 1967.
